Chad Anderson is CEO of Space Angels, the leading source of capital for space startups, where he has invested millions of dollars of private capital into new commercial space ventures. He is also Non-Executive Director of the UK Space Catapult where he supports the national strategy to grow the space sector in the country. Prior to his current roles, Anderson enjoyed a successful career at JP Morgan Chase where he managed a $50 billion real estate portfolio through the Great Recession. Anderson holds an MBA from the University of Oxford.
Justus is a Principal at Space Angels. He has built a career financing and scaling businesses that address humanity’s most pressing challenges. Justus spent the past four years with Acumen where he managed their first returnable capital fund and built a platform of value-add services. Prior to that, he worked at Merrill Lynch where he managed $6 billion in assets on behalf of institutional clients. Justus holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Paula-Kaye is the Head of Marketing at Space Angels. She brings over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, audience development and program marketing. She previously led program marketing and acquisition at EnergyHub, a utility DERM software and management company. Prior to that, she has done marketing at companies like CBS Interactive, Time Inc., and Verizon. Paula-Kaye holds a BS in Marketing & Management from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.
Julian is an Associate at Space Angels. He brings deep experience in research and a passion for disruptive technologies. Julian has spent the last three years at M Science, an alternative-data equity research firm, publishing qualitative and quantitative analyses on the consumer space for institutional investors. While at M Science, Julian helped launch the company's European research offering, and grew it to a $2 million business for the firm. Julian holds a BS in Finance from Cornell University.
Lydia is an Analyst at Space Capital. She brings a passion for exploring the ways in which emerging technologies impact consumer behavior and human capital. Lydia has spent the last two years working in Corporate Banking at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, a Japanese multinational bank, where she helped finance investment-grade companies spanning traditional automotive manufacturers to emerging mobility players. Lydia holds a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
Roshan is an Associate at Space Angels. He previously was an Equity Trader at Trillium, a boutique trading firm in New York City. He is currently on the junior board of Children’s Scholarship Fund, a non-profit organization focused on Education. He graduated from George Washington University with a B.S. in Mathematics and a Minor in Physics. He also earned a Masters in Finance from Vanderbilt University. In his free time, Roshan enjoys playing Tennis and exploring New York City.
Joe Landon is Chairman of the Board of Space Angels. He also serves as Chief Financial Officer of Planetary Resources Inc. Joe is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Space Technologies and was named one of Seattle’s ‘40 Under 40’ by the Puget Sound Business Journal. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering-Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
